On September 7, 2011, law firm Dechert LLP announced that David A. Vaughan returned to the firm as a partner in the Financial Services Group. Vaughan left Dechert in March 2009 to join the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Investment Management, where he served for the last two years as the senior private fund policy adviser on all aspects of legal and regulatory policy related to private funds.
