A recent Practising Law Institute (PLI) program provided a timely overview of current issues with respect to the establishment of prime brokerage arrangements, including the negotiation of prime brokerage agreements; mergers and acquisitions of hedge fund managers; and the formation and operation of registered funds.  This article summarizes the key points from that presentation.  The speakers were Nora M.
